Our clients never receive a bill.
Our ministry still has one.
Hooves to Freedom exists so that individuals and families can experience the ministry and support offered here without cost becoming the barrier.
But caring for horses, maintaining the property, operating the ministry, and creating a safe and welcoming environment requires faithful, dependable support.
That’s where the Church comes in.
A community of congregations standing together in prayer, volunteering, and faithful giving.
“Church Alliance partnerships help sustain the ongoing work of Hooves to Freedom, including the care of our horses, safe operation of the property, and the programs that allow individuals and families to experience this ministry.”
Hooves to Freedom is committed to faithful stewardship of every gift entrusted to the ministry.

Where Faith, Horses & Hope Meet.
Hooves to Freedom creates a place where people can serve, connect, heal, and experience the hope that grows when a community comes together.
FAITH
Hope has a foundation.
Christ-centered ministry rooted in prayer, compassion, and the promise that no one is beyond redemption and love.
HORSES
Connection can open doors words sometimes cannot.
Gentle, intuitive animals that meet people exactly where they are—creating trust, peace, and breakthrough.
COMMUNITY
People serving people changes lives.
Churches, volunteers, and neighbors joining hands so no family walking through our gates ever carries their load alone.

Youth & Workdays on the Farm
Every coat of paint on a fence or barn board protects the physical haven where lives are restored.

Trust built step by step in the arena.

Quiet fellowship and partnership with our herd.

Sharing meals, warmth, and open-door community.
“Sometimes ministry looks like a conversation beside a horse. Sometimes it looks like painting a barn, preparing a meal, or simply showing up.”
The Mission Behind the Ministry
Healing. Growth. Independence.
To enable individual healing, growth, and independence through Biblically based equine-assisted activities and equine psychotherapy with licensed counselors.
Independence that carries into everyday life.
To give individuals the opportunity to become as independent and whole as they can be with the horses and in all aspects of life and to carry this independence over into every aspect of their lives.
Church Alliance partners help make this mission possible.
“She Feels Like She Has a Place Where She's Celebrated.”
For four years, Dorcas and her family have been part of Hooves to Freedom. Her mother shares what she has witnessed through their experience with the ministry.
Her mother describes seeing growth in Dorcas's core strength, posture, balance, walking, and her ability to manage some of the physical challenges associated with cerebral palsy.
“She feels like she has a place that she's celebrated and she thrives and she feels like she belongs.”
“It blesses my heart to bring my daughter to a place that I know loves the Lord and Christ is the center.”
“Thank you for this being an available ministry, a needed ministry, and just a Godsend to our lives.”
Dorcas's Mother
Stories like Dorcas's are why the Church Alliance exists.
Consistent church partnership helps Hooves to Freedom remain available to families seeking strength, connection, faith, hope, and a place to belong.

Community. Horses. Shared Mission.
What If 50 Churches
Decided to Stand Together?
No church has to carry the mission alone.
But imagine what happens when 50 churches decide:
“We’ll help.”
Every church won’t give the same amount. And that’s okay.
The goal isn’t equal giving.
It’s shared commitment.

Partnership Goes Beyond Giving.
Church Alliance is a dynamic partnership where congregations engage with the ministry across six meaningful avenues:
Serve
Bring a church work team, youth group, or men's/women's ministry to help around the property with fencing, painting, landscaping, and maintenance.
Volunteer
Give your time, heart, and talents as side-walkers, horse leaders, greeters, or administrative supporters during sessions.
Pray
Stand faithfully in prayer for the participants, families, ministry leaders, dedicated volunteers, and the horses God uses in this work.
Fundraise
Rally your congregation, VBS kids, Sunday school classes, or small groups around a specific project, hay drive, or horse care sponsorship.
Share
Advocate for Hooves to Freedom in your church announcements, missions moments, and community networks to connect families in need of hope.
Give
Provide dependable monthly partnership so that no family arriving at our gates ever receives an invoice for ministry care.
We Believe the Church Was
Made to Make an Impact.
Through prayer. Through service. Through generosity. Together.
We believe ministry happens when God’s people see a need and choose to step toward it.
The 50 Church Challenge is an invitation for congregations to stand together through prayer, service, and generosity so Hooves to Freedom can continue serving those God brings through our gates.
All praise to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all our comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with His comfort through Christ.
— 2 Corinthians 1:3–5
